JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Manager is an exciting and critical role that oversees the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of goods; ensures workplace health and safety requirements are met and plans the arrangement of goods within the warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Select products and assemble customer orders in preparation for final check and delivery. Prepare pallets for shipping with appropriate labeling information. Receive products and ensure delivery accuracy. Ensure that the warehouse is properly staffed during normal business hours or other hours as may be deemed necessary by management. Ensure that all floor areas, offices, front walkways, dock, and dumpster areas are clean, neat, and free of any debris; ensure workplace safety. Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Five to eight years of distribution or warehouse experience, preferably in the foodservice industry. Previous supervisory experience highly preferred. Skills Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work comfortably under pressure. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize individual and staff workloads to meet deadlines. Effectively communicate with internal and external customers (management, coworkers, and suppliers).
